Client: ImagineFX Magazine
Contractor: Future Publishing
It’s not every day you get an opportunity to write for one of the most successful art magazines in the world, and I was lucky enough to do so for almost 4 years. Initially commissioned in 2006 by editor Rob Carney (ImagineFX, Computer Arts, T3) to provide copy and artwork during its first year in print, I created detailed instructional content for both figurative and fantasy illustration, as well as product reviews for The Gnomon Workshop. During it’s editorial transition in 2008, I continued to provide additional content under the guidance of its present editor, Claire Howlett. This included written and illustrated content for the Art News, Artist Q&A and Workshop sections.
