Client: 2D Artist Magazine
Contractor: 3D Total

Just around the time that I was becoming a regular contributor during my freelance position at ImagineFX, I was also contacted by Lynette Clee (3DTotal, Gnomon School of Visual Effects) to provide content for 2D Artist Magazine. Although the majority of the work that I created for 2D Artist was similar in terms of subject matter to that of which I created for ImagineFX, the magazine’s format was more stripped down which allowed me some flexibility in how I chose to write and present material. This included work involving unconventional approaches to figurative illustration, fundamentals of art theory, digital speed paintings, and sketchbook presentation.
